We have been trying for quite some time now to combine Motorhoming with cycling. Bringing are normal sized bicycles first. To do this we purchased a bike rack which fits
to the towball of the van rather than the expensive permanently fixed carrier to the back of the van, (this being the preferred method), which we adopted on our previous
model Motorhome. However to facilitate such an option this time we would have had to secure the carrier through the rear doors.

However a solution has been found, which we are trying out this week. Folding bikes, which will fit inside the Van without being in the way. Ideally if one could afford £700 each you would opt for the light weight durable British made bike
 “The Brompton” alot of money especially if it did not work. Its not just being able  to fold it small and carry it in the van, but it has to ride well.

Our solution  came whilst searching online, we found a cheap imported Chinese made bike, £130 and it came in a bag, heavy though at 17 kilos /27 lbs.  They ride brilliantly  as tested today with a ride to “Nichol end”
 for a cup of tea and giant scone “ delicious ” £2.70..
